How listings work.

Who we list

UK-based fitness and wellness practitioners across 9 categories. We pre-seed listings from public web data — when a practitioner is mentioned on a publicly-accessible site, we may add them as an unclaimed listing.

What unclaimed means

An unclaimed listing displays the practitioner's name, public website link, and city — same data anyone can find on Google. It does not include any private information, reviews, or fabricated content. The listing carries an "Unclaimed" badge until the practitioner claims it.

How to claim

Click Claim this listing on your profile page. We send a verification email to the contact address listed on your website. Once you click the link, you can edit the listing, add credential register links (REPs / CIMSPA / CSP / Yoga Alliance / etc.), and add or remove anything we got wrong.

How to remove

Two ways: (1) claim the listing, then delete it from the dashboard, or (2) email hello@gymbuddy.uk from the contact address on your website with the subject "Remove listing — {your-name}". We action removal requests within 48 hours.

What we verify

Where you give us a credential register link (CIMSPA / CSP / Yoga Alliance / etc.), we visit the link and confirm it returns a valid entry matching your name. If it does, your listing gets a clickable verifier badge. If it doesn't, we email you for clarification — we don't silently reject.

What we auto-suspend

If your website returns a 404, 410, or fails to resolve for 7 consecutive daily checks, the listing is auto-suspended. We email you (if claimed) before suspending. Resume the listing by updating your website URL.

No reviews. Ever.

We don't run a review system. Other directories rank by stars; stars get gamed. We rank by verifiable credentials, register-check recency, and outbound click-through (genuine demand from real visitors).

No commission

Listings are free. We don't take a cut of any session, class, or treatment booked through your direct website link.
